A professional services client wanted to improve workplace relationships between senior management and staff. Before the workshop, only 55% of the team agreed that they were able to bring up problems and tough issues. While 72% felt safe asking for help, 18% did not. The company also wanted to better understand how psychological safety could support stronger team performance.
Safe Space™ conducted a “Managing Psychological Safety & Vulnerability Leadership Toolkit” workshop for the C-suite and Heads of Departments. The in-person session included role plays based on case scenarios, worksheets, and handouts, and was held in a neutral hotel conference room environment.
The workshop helped establish more open communication between staff and management. Management was noticed to be more accessible and approachable, while the case study also noted better workplace performance, greater productivity with a positive mindset, and useful business suggestions that may not otherwise have been shared.
